A smart investment I hope
Hopefully this was a smart move. Im going to be studying these like crazy and then I'll ask the questions I can't find answers for in these.

Those are the best manuals you can find for your truck. Who better to find out how to do things than from the manufacturer themselves?

My thoughts exactly. I thought about a Haynes or Chilton but manufacturers books.....much better

My dad had a Chilton manual that covered 1987-1991 Ford F-Series trucks. He also had one that covered 1987-1996. The 1987-1991 book was twice the size of the 87-96 book and had way more information than the newer version. |
I started with "Motor" auto repair manuals, just one for each YEAR, covered all US car makers, times and parts were much simpler then, lol
Then some idiot invented ball joints, and kingpins were gone, it just went downhill from there :) |
