Icon4 random beeps when you crank the truck

The door dinger on my truck kept dinging once i shut the door. I cut the wire going to the door. The problem was solved for about a week. But now everytime i crank the truck it beeps (not the same noise as the dinger) five sets of five beeps. It does it again after the trucks been running for 40 min and again, every 40 min like clockwork. Does anybody have a clue whats going on?

The 5x5 beep is the backup for the Supplemental Restraint System (airbag) lamp. It means that the SRS lamp circuit has higher than expected resistance - usually due to a burned out or missing bulb.

Would removing the interior light bulb be a possible cause?

Or would it be a bulb in the instrument panel?

The 5x5 beep is for a problem with the circuit that lights the airbag bulb in the cluster. Quick test - Key on the ignition switch and watch for the airbag warning light which should illuminate for a few seconds. If it does not, chances are about 99% that the bulb for the airbag light is burned out.

Ok no airbag light, is there any way to make it stop beeping with pulling my dash apart to replace the bulb?

probably not but its not to bad to get in there ive had it out 2 or three times just need about 30 mins and some patience there are so really good how to's on here. I would go with high quality LED they seem to last way longer. You can get some good twist lock LEDs online pretty cheap
