Trouble Code...P0153..what is it?

Hey, my check engine light came on so I checked it with the XCAL 2 and it says that it is "Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank2, Sensor1)" what should I do about it? Is this hurting my truck?
Thanks

sensor 1.. so i'm assuming it's the first o2 sensor, atleast that's how we figured it out on my friend's GT. Not hard at all, just either have some good channel locks, or rent the o2 sensor tool when you go the new sensor.. it'll be on there pretty damn tight, but will eventually give.

unplug the connector on the end of the O2 sensor, unscrew the old one out of the exhaust pipe (USE ALOT OF PENETRANT OIL!!!!!!!) and then screw in the new one....

That will hurt power for sure. It will make the truck run lean or rich depending what's wrong with it. They should be changed every so often.

I have had this code popping up for the longest time, the guy at the shop replaced my o2 sensor during the inspection and now we are waiting to see if the code comes back. Is there anything else that could cause this trouble code to come up? I read somewhere if there is a hole in the exhaust before the sensor maybe.

Bank 2 is the passenger side sensor. Sensor 1 is the upstream sensor before the catalytic converter. Rangers have 3 sensors. Bank 1|Sensor 1 is the drivers side front, Bank 2|Sensor 1 is the passenger side front and Bank 1|Sensor 2 is the sensor after the converter.

Now this is crazy...but I changed my passenger side front 02 sensor about 3 months ago...and now this code came back again on yesterday and today. Should I change the driver's side sensor now?

Thanks Mark!...Im glad you arent givin me a hard time this time around... But that def. clears up a lot. I will go ahead and change the drivers side one tomorrow. And dont worry I used a 22mm wrench on the passenger side...came right out haha Hopefully this will fix it up.
Think the ones after the converter are alright?
