how do i wire something from the distrubtion box?

how do i wire something from the distrubtion box?

under the hood, where the relays are...how can i wire a power wire from there?

On the outside of the box, at the front side, there is a hot wire. Its big. Cant miss it.

do i dont unscrew anything?

i noticed under the cover theres 2 screws attached to a metal plate...i thought i would wire from there

Yes, that is the hot-all-times main power feed. You can loosen one of those screws and put your own wire terminal under it. As with anything, an inline fuse should be the first thing you attach, with the wire going to your accessory after it. You always want it fused within a foot or two of the source. Fuse it with an appropriate size fuse. If the load it 10 amps, fuse it at 15. If the load is 20 amps, fuse it at 25 or 30. If the load is 5 amps, fuse it at 7.5 or 10. Do NOT put a 30 amp fuse on a load that is only 3 or 5 amps, that defeats the purpose.

whats the normal amps of 55w fog/driving lights? So I can buy some fuses. Right now I gotta 10 in there

this would be for my LCD screens

i'm plannin on running a 3.15amp fuse

i hear the screens draw very little power

Two 55W bulbs = 110W total.

Amps = Watts/Volts = 110W/12V = 9.17A

You should be using wire sized for 15A or more and then size the fuse to protect the wire. Using a 10 Amp fuse is cutting it too close on 9.17A.
