'07 Ranger, hooking up wiring for trailer

Hello all, I was hoping someone could help me out. I want to hook up wiring to my truck so I can connect to a trailer, which has the connector already. How difficult is this, and what does it entail?
Thank you so much.

walmart or any auto parts store or trailer sales will have a pre- made harness for that, it will have instructions as to were to unplug your current wiring and put said adapter in and a few zip ties and your all set to go. the one i have on mine was about $20 bucks..
