Truck shutting off without use of key?

I have a 2002 Ford Ranger 4.0l and after a short drive (20-30 minutes) the truck will shut off when I flip it into "park"

I have no idea where to even begin so please help me

No, without moving the key, the truck shuts off. Doesn't sound like its stalling out either
