Starting/battery issue

Hello fellow Ranger enthusiasts, I need some help. I have a 1999 Ranger, 4.0, manual. I have installed a new battery, alternator, starter and starter relay. When I go to start, I get a click, engine/starter does nothing, then when I go to try again, my battery is dead. With a charged battery and trying to jump start from another vehicle, I get the same thing. Something is draining my battery right away and won’t start the truck. I have checked for a parasitic drain with a multimeter at the negative battery terminal and negative battery post and don’t show to have one. I have replaced all the above trying to get this thing running. What else should I look into to? Any support I can get would be much appreciated!

Sounds like a classic case of loose or dirty connections at the battery, or bad battery cables.

Pictures of battery cables/connections would be helpful.
