Starting problems

I have a 94 b2300 and it cranks but no start. Has power everywhere and will start up no problem 75% of the time recently changed both terminals and issue went away for a short period. Now the problem is back and more consistent starting only maybe 50% of the time. Any suggestions please help!! Sometimes if I jiggle the wire to the starter solenoid it’ll start right up also. And when I crank and it doesn’t start I’ll let it sit for 15 20 minutes and it’ll start right up. I’m really stumped on this one guys any help is greatly appreciated

There's your biggest clue as to what is wrong, loose or dirty connection, or the wire is corroded internally.

+1 ^^^

I would carry a spray can of Starting Fluid, Ether
And a pair of pliers
Next Crank but No Start, do the 50/50 test

50/50 test
Remove power brake boosters vacuum hose, at the booster
Spray fuel(ether) into the hose and put it back on the booster
Try to start engine

If it starts and then dies you have a fuel delivery issue
If it doesn't start then its a spark issue
50/50 instant results

So spark is working but engine is not getting fuel

Your fuel filter is clogged or the fuel pump is dying

You should hear the fuel pump run for 2 seconds when you turn on the key, EACH TIME you turn on the key, its a loud HUMMMM from behind the cab, can't miss it
Repeat key on and off as much as you need to so you know the sound, then when there is a no start listen.......................

well fuel filter and fuel pump are now changed and it’s still having the same problem. Sometimes if it doesn’t start I slam the driver door it’ll start but if it’s cold out and I try to cold start it I won’t get a start at all it’ll just crank. I’m so so so lost and frustrated help

So do you HEAR the fuel pump run for 2 seconds with key on?
It should run every time you turn the key from off to on, every time, repeat as much as you want

So you have a loose wire.........................

In the cab on passenger side is the inertia switch, it is bolted to the firewall under glove box area close to the edge, or up high behind the passenger kick panel

Looks like this: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/AgIWda8eedQ/maxresdefault.jpg

Black box with red button on the top, and two wire terminals
The 12volts for fuel pump passes thru this switch, check connector

If red button pops up that will cut power to fuel pump, it should only pop up in an accident, i.e. sudden stop or rollover, its to prevent electric fuel pump from pumping out gasoline after an accident, which would be a BAD thing, lol
You can push the button back down to reset it BUT...............once it is "tripped" once it will trip easier, so should be replaced
If your truck was rebuilt or ever in an accident it may have tripped and was reset, so now it is acting up
