steering column questions

Ok folks I have a 2003 ext cab ranger 4.0L 5spd 4wd power everything. I did have a 04 same truck but woman pulled out in front me. Ive noticed on 03 my knee is always touching turn signal. Can i like put newer style turn lever in? The I think 03 and older go down a bit then out, the newer go up a bit then out. Lil help here please.

In 2004 Ford made a LOT of changes in how the Ranger was wired. A quick check on Rock Auto shows two different multi-function switches for the 2003 and 2004.

Does anybody have turn signal switch wiring diagram for 03 and 04. If I get that ill go junk yard and get a 04+ turn signal switch with harness and convert it over. So il be able run 04 in my 03 so my knee dont touch it so easy.

Good deal. Glad it worked out for you! I did this a week or so ago, didn't need wiring diagrams to do it, just changed stuff over to the new stalk.
