Steering column swap on 97 Ranger

I have a question my 97 Ranger has the basic steering wheel, I want to convert it to tilt. I have checked all my local salvage yards the only ones that I can find include cruise control. I don't want to fool with the cruise but can I still use this column and just not complete the cruise hookup. What I am wondering is will the wiring harness' match up? The columns I am looking at are from the same year trucks.

yep. i have a mustang tilt unit on my ranger column. but yet, you can swap the black plastic piece behind your steering wheel with the new one. that will take the cruise pods off. the rest should be plug and play. make sure you get a key to be able to get the tumbler out.

Add cruise later. Its easy.

Make sure you grab both sides of the wiring harness under the dash at the column.
