Stiff column shifter

Stiff column shifter
This is the 3rd ranger I've had and the other two had shifted pretty smoothly, but this one the column shifter is quite a stiff pull and you really have to put some muscle into it. Any ideas where to look?

Ended up being the neutral safety switch. So if you have issues with a stiff, slow, lurching shift, it could be the neutral safety switch on the tranny.
