New wires running rough

I just bought some brand new accel spark plug wires and tryed installing them today. I put the silicon stuff in the boots and tips of the distributor. The truck starts and runs on it's own, but it's really rough and is missing on a couple cylinders.
Does anyone have the order that the wires go from the distributor to the plugs?

right now I have it set up:
Looking from the front of the truck into the engine

D-CAP
wire3 wire4
wire2 wire5
wire1 wire6

Block
3 4
2 5
1 6

I lost the paper I wrote the original wire config on

There is a good chance a wire or two isn't seated properly on the plug. The juice will jump a small gap and it will sound fine at idle. You'll notice just those symptoms as soon as you put a load on it.

does that seem like the right wire configuration to you though? I'll check the boots one more time to make sure they're all snug, but idle or load it's still missing bad

Well, yes that looks right from what I remember. If it was wrong, you'd know it.

I switched wires 4 and 6, and it has alot smoother start, but idle is like a pulse instead of that staediness, I don't know if that makes any sense but..

When I rev it up, the whole truck really shakes, and I don't think that I can have THAT much of a torque gain just from wires. and when I put it in gear it shakes pretty bad and has alot lower of an idle, almost to the point of stalling

That's exactly what I needed, I had wires 6 and 5 mixed up... the right side of the distributor is a little odd for order, but w/e. It works now. Thanks for the help Rand and FireRanger
