Sunroof Model OHC

Alright I cannot seem to find any info about the model no one here seems to use. I remember seeing information on iti before but cannot seem to find it now.

Just curious if anyone has used it or if there are any problems with using it. I have some ideas for it, but I currently have the garage door model, but it does not look like I will be able to use it for what I wanted to.

Yeah people have made it work, I'll try to find pics.

RangerJustin 02-17-2009 12:56 PM

Thanks Trent.

Do you recollect what the problem was with them vs. the garage door model? Besides the wiring being different.

Lord Of War 02-17-2009 12:58 PM

Isnt the mounting bracket different?

04blackedge 02-17-2009 01:01 PM

RangerJustin 02-17-2009 01:09 PM

Hmm. Well hopefully it isn't to different to vary from Grigg's instructions.

the sunroof model uses a hook type bracket to hold the back of the console up. just a little trickier to cut the hole so the hook thing will hold it up.when i installed mine i just took a peice of metal and put it up under my headliner and screwed screws into it.
