Hi Guys...

I hope this s not a dumb question, BUT .... Is the black box ( 5.5 x 3.5 inches ) behind the glove box and radio in the Ranger the GEM computer ??? and is the relay for the 4WD located in that box ??

The black box behind the radio is the GEM (brains for the system). I believe the actual control relays are located in the Electric Shift Control Module.
