ABS and Emergency brake lights on.

ABS and Emergency brake lights on.

I got in my truck this morning and started it up backed up and noticed my ABS light and my emergency brake light is on. The truck ran fine the brakes work just like they did tuesday when i drove it. Not sure what is up. any ideas?

Check the fluid level in the brake master cylinder.If it is low it will turn on both lights.

The fluid was low. more than likely i have a slow leak somewhere now if it would just stop raining i could find out where.

the wheel cylinder ended up being bad, the emergency brake was rusted so it was partially ingaged the whole time, my shoes were worn all the way down to the rivits, and my adjuster screw was stuck. stops woderfuly now!
