My mounting kit for my headunit had that little slot above the faceplate. I took a piece of plexiglass, shut it and shaped it and then just mounted it to it. Room for about 4 toggle switches

looks a lot better in person i think

In the process of using the OHC for switches.

I purchased an OHC with less than desirable electrical connections and a burn lamp socket, these problems were not mentioned in the original ad but I have it and will work with it.

I removed the Temp/Compass/Sw Panel and made a new face plate that will hold four toggle switches in the location of the display and two lower profile toggles in the Map Light Sw location.

Still working on this, still need to do the LED Map Light Mod too.

Just a thought, make it look the same but different.

off topic, have you had any issues with your cb? i have the same one, but last time i tried to use it, my friend said i was coming across choppy... i had antenna cable issues, but i have since fixed that, and i'm not 100% sure if it has been cleared up or not...

There's room on both sides of the radio to add switches to the bezel.

It's a voltmeter, I got it on eVILbay for about $12 - $15.

It works great, my dash voltmeter never moves now (needle always just above the 1/2 way mark) that I have a 200a alternator, but the digital meter usually reads 12.0v when it's not running & 13.1v - 14.5v when running.
