Adding Factory Fogs to a Fog lightless truck?

I bought an 04 Ranger, 4x4, stripper model this last weekend and I love the truck. Although being a stripper model its missing a few things I'd like to have and one of them is fog lights. Does anyone know is the wiring there for the fogs? I looked under the bumper and didn't see the harness, but I've read that people say the harness is under the dash on trucks that didn't have fogs to begin with. Is the harness on the front of the trucks there? I'd like to add the lights but I'm not going to tear up my wiring harness to do so. If its just buy the parts and plug it in I'll do it. Anyone know what the scoop is on this?

I guess it might not be to bad if you run the factory fog light switch cause then I guess you only need to run a power lead and a ground. I just had an extremely modded Camaro and I hated to "butcher" the wiring on it and I've worked on cars with "butchered" wiring and I hate to do that to one of my vehicles. This isn't my truck but this is the bumper/valance I have.

what I did was I went to ford or advance auto and got a pigtail for the fogs and wired them into to the parking lights, then u have that cool look. the pigtails were like 8 bucks a piece if I recall correctly then you run a hot wire and a ground to the parkign lights, really easy and quick to do and it looks cool.

You guys with newer trucks are lucky.. my 98 does not have a foglight switch, its something I'm going to have to add myself.

Thanks for the pics and info. Where was the wiring at the front of the truck? Is it up in the Bumper or just tied back in a harness somewhere? Thats a clean install you did there.

Oh I'm not scared of it at all. I just don't want the lights bad enough to cut up my wiring a bunch. My z28 has every conceivable mod done on it all by me. I'm one of those guys that it has to look factory and work like factory if I do it.

Your not really cutting anything and if I remember right there is a new valence for sale with the factory holes but I'm not sure if its still for sale. The wireing is easy and adding a switch isnt hard
