a couple months ago my truck got broken into.... blabla. and i never heard my alarm so i tested it by locking myself in and opening the door and it didnt go off even though the theft light was blinking. anyone have an idea what the problem is? is there a way of turning it on and off?

 

It probably doesn't have an 'alarm'. My truck has a light that flashes too, it does not have an alarm

 

The theft light indicates that the system called PATS is working. What is does is reads the chip in the key. If there is no chip or if its the wrong chip its programmed to read then your truck doesn't start. If you have remote fobs then it is probably just keyless entry.
