OHC wiring?

I installed my OHC and I got the wiring harness all the way down to the fuse panel. My question is I want to connect the wires behind the dash instead of running them to the dome light. Where are the wires/what color are the wires do I neen to find behind the dash. Also I need to run the main power to the OHC to an AUX wire so that its not always on. Should I tap into the stereo or into another AUX power source.

why not tap into the domelight power? its easy to string a wire under the headliner. Other than that, follow N33LZ how to for best results.

I thought about that but just thought it would be easier to tap under the dash. I am not going against John's write up, its a very good write up but I've already put everything back together and dont want to pull stuff out to see what colors the wire is to tap into under the dash.
