help please

04 ranger airbag light on all the time even when truck is off any ideas what i should do?

when i shut the truck off it blinks 3 times or maybe 1 then 2

Count the blinks exactly. We can look up the code from that.

def it blinks one then pauses and then blinks 2 more times then goes solid

Thats what I'm showing. How old is your battery? Check your connections under the seat too, sometimes the connections can get corroded and triggered the light.

factory battery... could that cause the light to stay on even when the truck is off

Hum I missed the part of the light being on all the time. I don't know that part, hopefully someone else chims in.

No one else seems to have any other ideas i have talked to a couple of dealerships and they said they have never heard of this problem. Will have battery tested and see what happens
