truck shaking....

this has started happening recently but i am having with this horrible shaking of my truck while im driving above 40mph. i have 35in mud terrains with 15in steel rims. i recently had my driveshaft balanced and my alignment done.

my thoughts are that my rims need balancing or my alignment is off again? any other options that may cause this shaking problem? thanks

probably just need to rebalance your tires, that would be my first try anyways

Check for broken u- joints in the driveshaft, had the exact same thing happen to me and it was one of the u-joints

make sure your driveshaft goes all the way in ur trany

Maybe pull off your rear bumper and check the basket casings for loose reverberators, that usually gives you a bit of shake and wobble at mid to high speeds ;)

Actually *hah* I would try an alignment as mentioned above - that will usually fix those crazy wobble/shake issues, I had one real bad on an older car I used to drive around between 45-55mph, and a balance fixed it right up!

Been mudding lately? You might have a bunch of crap caught in the wheel throwing it out of balance.

Could be a seperation in one of the tires from stump jumping but clean all the mud from inside the wheels first. Remember MY COUSIN VINNY: "You Got Mud In The Tire"
