Truck won't start.

Hey guys, sorry if this question has been asked dozens of times but I'm at a loss here. I searched the forums and couldn't find the right answer.

I have a 2005 4.0 Ranger 4x4. While driving one day, it just died and wouldn't restart. There were no warning signs. It ran well, then just died out of nowhere. My 1st thought was the fuel pump....so I replaced it and it didn't help. Next I replaced the inertia switch (fuel pump shut-off)....nothing! Then I changed the fuel pump relay....nothing. I'm trying to fix it myself because I can't afford a mechanic atm. ....and I can't afford to keep this trial and error method up. I can't tell if it's not getting fuel or if it's an ignition issue. Furthermore, I don't have any specialty tools or gauges to diagnose the problem. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.
