Truck won't start

All the electronics work, lights, radio, etc but it won't start. I was trying to wire up my e-fan, I was letting the truck warm up to set the temp and it just shut off. Now it won't start back up, it doesn't even try to turn over. The truck had been running for like a minute before it died too. Any suggestions of what to check would be great, I've already checked the starter relay and its fine.

Its not making any noise, its like the starter doesn't exist. I don't see how the starter could have gone bad with the truck just running.

Did you take a screwdriver to the starter and see if it turns over at all?

The truck died? Definitely not starter/relay related, almost like you knocked an ignition wire loose or a ground loose. I'd start checking the under-hood fuses/breakers in case you accidentally shorted out a circuit.

Here is what its doing. I checked the fuses, I'll go over them again. The ABS light and parking brake light come on when I try to start it

Take a flathead screwdriver to the positive bolt on the starter and it should turn it over or at least try to. If it doesn't spark and turn then it's probably your starter. All you gotta do is touch the flathead to the bolt.

Try it out.

On all 01+ if the theft light is blinking it means in the on position it's saying there is no key in the ignition, not reading the chip in the keys.

I suggested running out and pulling the battery leads then touching them together for about 30 seconds to clear the ECU. Put them back on turn key to on position and hold for about 10-15 seconds, in this time it'll let you know if you can start it by the theft light blinking. Crank it over.

The theft light will always blink when the key is off. But the blink he's talking about is the rapid blink with the key in the ignition.

Umm yea it's just a fuse, but it's pretty obvious something you did blew it. Be careful! Figure out what made it blow...Maybe where you are drawing power from, or have messed with
