1995 Ford Ranger XLT 6cyl. No keyless entry or electric windows. Parking lights would not turn off and turn signals and flashers would not work. Flasher was buzzing. Replaced flasher and all now work until I drive vehicle. Then the turn signals make a sound but do not flash. Totally lost. Isn't 12 volts 12 volts no matter whether engine is running or not? Not sure how to proceed.

 

Need year and model of Ranger

Keyless entry and DRL can cross circuit, depends on year of Ranger and if it has those options

If turn lights come on but don't flash then a bulb is burned out

12.5volts engine off, 13.5-14.5volts engine running, but no that shouldn't matter as you say

 

Sorry. Thought it was a part of my auto signature. 1995 Ford Ranger XLT 6cyl. No electric windows. No keyless entry. Lights flash correctly when motor is not running. Not a bulb issue. I plan to get a second flasher from a junk yard to see if my new flasher might be defective. I am baffled. Thanks,
