Hello, I have a 2003, 2 wheel drive, XLT 4.0, A/T that is having auto lock issues. Hopefully I don't run on too much about the symptoms but there are so many variations.

1. It starts with the key fob, when I unlock or lock the doors, I press the unlock button on the remote the door unlocks properly, but sometimes the horn chirps and light will flash.
2. Start the truck and the both driver and passenger locks will lock or unlock. Shut the truck off, same symptoms.
3. If I open the door, then use the lock button on the door, shut the door, the horn alarm goes off. I have to use the fob unlock button to shut it off.
4. When I double lock the key fob the horn chirps louder than in any other situation. That would be the normal operation.

I have oiled all the door latches, cleaned the battery posts and changed key fobs with new batteries.
That's a few of the symptoms, there can be so many other variations. Otherwise the truck runs great with no other issues.
Any Ideas on what might be causing these issues would be appreciated.
