Hid Help!!!! Ahhhhhhh

So I bought another set of HID's the other day & they just came in, so I decided to get them put in on my day off...

The kit I had before had a HI/LOW beam, but I never wired up the high beam. The new kit only has a low beam, which is okay I guess.

Anyway, I can NOT get this new kit to work, I have it wired up the same way as the old one. One relay per headlight with 4 prongs. One goes to the batter, 1 goes to a ground, one goes to the power from the kit, and one I spliced into my original harness. But it is still not working!

I have some pics attached to help show you the kit, I need some help.

New, left; Old, right

The white and black wire coming off of the blue socket (old) was for the hi beams, but I never wired it up so they didn't go to anything, along with the yellow wires.

The connector goes to the 'power' prong on the relay.

What ends up happening is you have literally thousands of different manufacturers producing kits for a limited time, changing names, brands products etc... may be the same company, may not be, but that limits your recourse if the kit goes bad etc... typically 6 months is the limit you will see a new brand on the market.
So what im saying is the hid kit he got could be bad...defective. Basically what im saying is...dont buy kits off ebay...their quality sucks. You can buy OEM off ebay just about as cheap as a kit...around 200 bucks.
