UG problem, cannot find protocol?!?!

I've searched the forums, haven't found a problem like this. I got my UG today, followed directions, and all I'm getting is the "****scanning*****" screen...I've tried the troubleshooting from UG.com......I've had one on my last car, worked no problem. why now?!?!?

Nevermind, I'm sending it back!

"Support" said if it doesn't sync within 30 seconds, it never will.

When that happens you hit the menu button, that's what I did and it always works. That only happens when I switch vehicles

I'm going to send it back, I've tried everything. I think I'm going to order a scan gauge II, not sure yet. Thanks for the input!

I switched to composite toes, the steel toes were just wayyyy to heavy to walk around in all day. Bates has some awesome comp toes on the market.

Yeah, I bet. I used to work at a local shop as a GS tech. At the time all I could afford walking into the workplace was Brahma (Wally-world) steel toes at $30/pair. They were so tough, they lasted my over 1.5 years of moderate/lighter side of heavy duty. I wore them at work, at home when I had to work on my vehicles, or just about anywhere. Before I go into my next mechanical-ish job, I will def. buy some better boots (My old friends dog chewed up the first pair and left me with the steel toes leftover!) I will look into Bates comp. soon! Thanks for the info!
