Under dash LEDs
Alright, well I have decided to put in some leds under my dash. I am just wondering how the wiring needs to be set up. Do the wires run from the leds to the switch, and then from the switch to a ground and power source? Also, I am not sure on how to wire it into the fuse box. Do you just pick a certain fuse (Like maybe the headlight fuse) so that they come on when my lights are on?
I am wiring in a switch so that I can turn them off if I would like. And one more question. Where do you guys like to mount switches? I would like mine out of eye sight so that people dont realize I have extras in my truck. Stealthy is the way to be when it comes to cool gadgets. |

ITs so easy. I did mine in a couple minutes. Use the fuse for winshild wipers, there on as long as the key's on run or ACC. run that as your power wire under the dash. then make a ground. done. dont forget reistors with leds!

Resisters? WTF! I really hate wiring, you are gonna have to be more specific than that.

If you use like a LED strip you won't need resistors.

Guys, I when I changed the light-switch-knob light bulb to led, I used a 1kohm resistor, a 1K with 1/4 volts of insulation would be fine!
