2003 Taurus - Heating/Cooling Fan Question - Need help quick - Bob?
Hey guys,
I'm driving my mothers 03 Taurus for a few days. Problem is, it's driving me nuts. The heating/cooling fan in the car works, but here's the catch: it only works if the fan is set at the highest setting. Anything else and it acts like it's off.
The question is, any ideas what the problem is? Is it the switch itself? Could it be a relay? Fuse?
It's going to drive me nuts, and I'd like to get it squared away.
Thanks!
Scott

The Ranger resistor location is similar to this diagram. i would bet that a Taurus is similar also. Usually very easy to change - plug connector and 2 screws.
The block looks something like this GM part and costs $15~25.
