dont ever attach the extraction equiptment to the suspension!!!!
you can attach teh basic ones to the frame just by bolting them up or driling another hole to line it up. generic ones are good one each side of the frame

rear bumper? Thats the worst pulling point. come on now, everyone knows that.

i'd reccomend to just get a trailer hitch. best way to go, and if u bottom out, that will save you from bumper/body damage.

haha i tow off my rear bump bump every once in a while. Hasn't failed me yet :-) But I guess a hitch would be a smart idea. The rear bump is rated to tow a good deal tho, i dont see what the prob is. Rarely do i pull ppl "offroading stuck" more like "you suck at driving" stuck.

When I got stuck at our farm in mud think as molasses in March I didn't have anything to pull from but my trailer ball, hooked up the chain and I thought my bumper was going to bend like a Twizler, luckily it barely held in. Good thing I'm building a hidden hitch type thing in welding, 3/8" walls with 2.5" square with 1/4" sides, that should hold up well, I just hope my welds will!

Get a class 3 reese or hidden hitch. drawtite is fine too.
should be about 120$ to your door at the most.

For the front.. the depends on your crossmember, lack of crossmember, and holes in the crossmember.
I suspose you could get a front mount hitch also but most likely there are easier and cheaper ways for front tow hooks..
just be aware 97 is totally different from 2001+
