So I got all my stuff installed and working for my pl, pw, and remote keyless (all aftermarket) EXCEPT the indicator leads from the keyless. There's two 12v fused leads supposed to connect to "indicators" which I'm assuming are parking lights and/or horn. Correct me if I'm wrong but arent the grounds switched for the parking and horn relays, not the 12v. If so, is there still a way to get the flash and beep with the 12v leads other than more relays? Thanks in advance for any help.

Second question is that my keyless has the option to roll up the windows. I know how to wire that up to the window relays no prob. When locks are locked it would send a 30 second signal to the window up relays, or holding a 3rd button would roll them up as well. 30 seconds on every lock action seems excessive to me. Yes/no? Could that hurt any part of the window motors or anything?

I did some searching but didnt find the asnwer I'm looking for so I apologize if this is a repeat post.

Nobody? Is using a relay to switch polarity the only way then?

What about the window thing? Good idea/bad idea?

 

30 seconds seems way long for the window motor.
