well i feel stupid (idle issue)
took the needles off to do an led swap and forgot to mark where the tach was at idle
anyone know the idle rpm for a 1995 2.3l????? thanks guys |
It could vary between different trucks depending on proper tune and engine quality. Just put the needle back on when the truck is NOT running. Easy. Done.

Best/most accurate way to do it would be A) use a digital reader or another tach to get a reading or B) find a good RPM calculator and use a speed/gear where the TC is locked so you have a straight reading (although it involves doing this while moving).
EDIT - You have a manual, N/M the T.C. thing. |
alright thanks guys
ive got it around where it should be for now im gona take it back apart soon to finish my swap anyway and down the line after a 351 im gona have new gauges |
