Overflow Cap Blowing Off

Overflow Cap Blowing Off
I have an 87 2.9L V6 4x4 I just bought a month ago. New radiator, new hoses, new therm, new radiator cap (all these I can see) and I was told new head gasket. The problem I am having is radiator fluid is being forced out underneath my radiator cap and/or my overflow tank (Not OEM) cap blows off. I am having to add coolant and water every few days but other than the caps, do not see any other leaks. My temp gauge does not work properly and my heater core needs replacing so I know this might not be an easy solve. The fluid color in the overflow tank is a little brown, and there is a little residue on the radiator cap. I have flushed the radiator... any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're not going to like this , but, you have the classic symptom of a blown head gasket or a cracked head.Gases from the combustion chamber are leaking into the cooling system and causing it to build up too much pressure.
You need to do a cylinder leakdown test on each cylinder with the radiator cap off to see if it is on one head or both.
You may,MAY, get lucky and just retorque the heads as the person who supposedly did the head gasket may not have done it properly.
But that's no guarranty.
