What amperage for radio?

I have a 2010 Ranger and had the stock radio replaced. I want to hook up the stock radio in my workshop (I have a wiring harness already) and need to know the DC amps to run it. Nowhere on the radio does it specify the rating. I've got a bunch of AC to DC converters of varying ampere ratings.
Thanks

Well you can hook it up and it is going to draw as much current as it needs. Radio is hooked up to a 7.5amp fuse in the fuse block. Make sure its a 12V DC converter...

ya your not goin to hurt the radio as long as you have a converter but just a question and comment why dont you just get a regular shop radio then truck radio is pretty sensitive i got some saw dust in mine and it quit working so just be careful and you cant cover it cuz it will get hot
i dont mean it will spontaneousley combust but it will get warm

Better to have a larger DC Pwr Supply than smaller, so if you have a 10 amp supply then use it.
I would think anything over 8 amps would be good so we are back to the 10 amp unit.
Don’t forget the 7.5 amp in-line fuse.
