what the hells goin on?

So i pulled into work and as i was coming up to the gate some *** whole hit the close button. i laid on the brakes and noticed my passenger rear locked up. i pulled onto the gravel and at about 30 kmh i locked up the brakes. the rear brakes locked up but not the front brakes. I just put a 31 spline 8.8 out of a 2004 ranger in but had no problems until now. Is it air in my lines or something worse? any ideas?

i could be wrong--but your back brakes will always lock up before your front with disk in front and drum in back, the drums are easy to lock, even with abs, where as the front disk are hard to lock up, over the years i have locked up the back breaks several times but never the front, and i have 4-wheel abs

2000 and below have RABS only, i think some 4x4's got 4WABS though. But 4WABS was standard in 2001+. I had numerous occasions where my front wheels would lock up before the rear wheels would on my 2000..

or maybe adjust the perporsion (sp?) valve (adjusts pressure between front and rear brakes) if it has one. I dont think i've ever had any of my brakes lock up.
