I have a 2020 RNger with 3980 miles. This fell off my truck while setting in my driveway.


What is it, does it affect the trucks performance, do I need to replace it

 

Looks like a heat shield and noise dampener
Yes, you can throw it in the back and take it to Ford dealer and say "WTF!"

There is a Ford Part number on the silver side, can't read from picture, it's the longer number above the A7010, has the 2 hyphens
