Been having problems with my flashers, replaced bulbs but no help. So I got a new ep27 flasher. Here it shows the blue flasher behind a black panel under the dash.

Well, there is no black box there at all. Just the metal part it is mounted to. I suspect it is someplace else because I have no power windows etc or because I have a manual trans.

Anyone know where it is? Owners manual shows nothing other than the fuses at passenger kick panel.

 

I found it. It was under there but in a different spot and looks nothing like the ep27. It is a larger blue box which incorporates the clip that slides over a bracket into the flasher itself. The ep27 fit, but I had to zip tie it to the bracket. Found it by listening for the clicking. The ford website did show both parts. Now I know why. The zip ties are more solid than the clip anyways. So far it seems to have solved the intermittent hyper flash on the passenger side.
