I have a 97 4.0 xlt. Windows just stopped rolling up or down on both sides. I checked fuses and there is power to motor and switches. Replaced master switch. Window motor will work if i use a battery. Replaced alternator, battery and starter recently. I have messed with the relay box one for auto down. Grounds seem fine. I am stumped.

I have bypassed the ignition lock cylinder a couple years ago and windows always worked fine. Any idea why they won’t work?
