No spark

I have a 85 Bronco II that I put a 4.0 from a 94 Ranger in. Now I have everything installed and the harness hooked up as I think it is supposed to be but I am getting no spark. The engine turns over as it should and the fuel pump turns on as it should but no spark. Does anybody have suggestions of what I should check or replace or make sure I hooked up properly. Thank you all for you time.

Peace

hi, I have a 84 b2 with the stock 2.8, I don't know much about the engine you have now, but no spark usually means a problem with the distributor. have you checked the distributor or the distributor coil? something might not be making contact properly. Or the timing might be off. IDK, just tossing out ideas

Thanks for the suggestion but I no longer have the stock 2.8L in my bronco. I have swapped in the 4.0L and am having trouble with the wire harness.
