DESPERATE FOR HELP

Hey, i’m looking for any help i can get, i have a 2003 2.3 manual, i just rebuilt the motor, and installed everything but it won’t start, it keeps popping my fuse number 11 which was because of my starter grounding out previously, after fixing that problem it didn’t blow the fuse, but wouldn’t turn the motor, now i’m back to the fuse popping again and don’t know where to go, i’ve checked wires already and they’re all good, no problems with power meeting ground, i’m just so lost and would hate to get rid of this truck i’ve been working on for so long, but it’s a month until I go to Tech College and i almost have no choice, anything helps

If you're blowing the 50 amp fuse in # 11, you have a wire hooked up wrong somewhere.

Run hand around bellhousing at the top to see if a wire got pinched between engine and bellhousing, very common for that to happen

Fuse 11 in engine fuse box does feed starter relay but also feeds all the power to ignition switch

So does fuse 11 blow as soon as you have battery hooked up?
or
Does it only blow when you turn on the key?
or
Does it only blow when you turn the key to START?

Start engine, if you hear rockers "ticking" then no or low oil pressure, shut it off, if it sounds OK then oil switch is unplugged or bad, so OK to run engine
On the 2.3l Duratec I think oil switch was on the oil filter housing, but not sure

Okay sweet, i’ll look into it tomorrow, whenever i tried to turn the motor i heard no ticking noises from the head, so hopefully it’s the switch
