Need some help if possible. I have a 1996 ranger 2.3 5 speed 2wd. When the starter cranks the wipers and washer pump both turn on for about 2 seconds and then goes back to normal after the truck is running. When I turn the key without the clutch depressed everything is fine (starter not cranking). Wipers work fine when the truck is running. It only happens when the starter motor is engaged. The ignition cylinder is a little worn out as well. Anyone know if this would be a GEM module, ignition switch, wipers switch problem. Or where to start looking? Thanks in advance.
