I was lookin at investing in a cb radio for the truck sometime in the near future. I wouldn't imagine they're too hard to wire in, but if it is can someone tell me otherwise. If it is a pain in the @$$ then is it expensive to just have a shop do it?

There's a ground, which needs to be grounded. A positive that can be run hard wired or to the ignition. Then there's the antenna coax. Simple.

 

They are easy to wire I just did mine tonight. I wired it up through the fuse box and grounded it up to a prexisting ground near the e-brake.

 

i know i saw another post on this so i don't want this to start into a long thing about where to put it, but...where'd you guys put your antenna

 

I put it on my toolbox. I dont have any pics. of it yet, but I bought an antana and a mount from Radio Shack.
