I thought i might ask this question in case anyone else might have done this mod.

My 08 ranger didnt come with factory fogs, so right after i bought my truck i put PIAA 510's in the fog light housing which fit just fine with no problems just had to drill a hole through the housing in the valance for them.

My question is i hate usuing the switch to turn them on and off and would like to be able to make them come on with my running lights or my headlights like they do on a normal ranger does anyone have a diagram or suggestions on how to do somethign like that?

 

Simply reroute the 12v power supply wire for the fog light switch to the running (park) light wiring coming from the light switch. Leaving the fog light switch in the on position. Your fog lights will now come on in either Park or Head light position. However, you’ll still be able to turn them off independently of the headlamp switch, if needed by turning the fog light switch to the off.
