Brand New CRL SFC Sunroof 14x32 - TX

I originally bought this to replace the power sunroof on my ranger that was broken. Since they were slightly different in frame design and shape it would not work. It comes with everything needed to install and is rather simple. This is a very nice sunroof and is the perfect size for the truck. I am asking 100 plus the shipping. I will post a picture soon. Here is a picture and details on the item.

Feel free to email me larrytravland@yahoo.com or you can call or text me at eight three two 381 four 22 seven. Thanks. Larry.

Please read the classified rules before posting. You most include your "for sale" prefix along with your location in the thread title. I fixed it for you.

A sun-roof would be an awesome addition to my truck.....hmmmmm....

Oh sorry I didn't realize it had to say for sale in the title and didn't really think about the location since it is posted next to my screen name. Thanks for fixing it though.

Have you ever installed a sunroof on a ranger that didn't come factory with one?

I will say that aside from cutting the headliner. It shouldn't be too hard at all on a single cab. I don't know if the bracing is the same on the extended cab. There is only one brace that runs front to rear on the ranger right in the middle of the truck. I can send all the needed measurements to get it squarely installed since I already have a hole that size in my roof.

It would work out something like this. You would remove the headliner, then either remove the seats (i recommend it) or cover them with a welding blanket, Then the brace in the middle needs to be removed, Using a cutoff saw. Then time to square up the template. I recommend putting painters tape on the roof to protect it from the saw first and then laying out the template, then mark it on the painters tape, then take a 1/2 inch drill bit and drill a starting point, now take a sheetmetal saw (looks like a small sawzall except air powered) start carefully cutting the hole out. Now I suppose if you were really careful you could use a dremel with cutoff wheels but it may take some time. You just need patience to do it. After the hole it cut the rest is history. It won't take long to install the glass roof.

For the headliner use the template and mark the topside of the headliner shell. Then carefully cut that out. Done. You can get some edge moulding for a finished look. I have seen it in a wide range of colors so you can match your interior.

The only trick with the headliner is making sure you get the hole cut in the right place. It can be tough and time measuring it needs to be taken.

Buy this one. You won't find a better deal on a complete new one! They are very nice! I really need to sell it since I already bought another one that's the right size to fill the hole in my roof!

I have thought of this too for some time. I think it would be awesome! The only thing I worry about is the structure of the cab and the ridgetity of the cab as well. I mean it's already weakend but the 4 door aspect I would think...Then adding the sunroof would make it even weaker I would think? I'm not sure though. RockeredRanger have you ever had one installed on a ranger before? If so did it do just fine???

Yes I have installed one. It was only weak when I had the hole cut once it's installed I noticed no difference.

Nice dude! Well hey do you have any pictures we could check out? I'm more or less intested to see what it looks like...On a ranger anyway. Never seen one on our trucks.
