I am going to pick up a 96 4.0l running exploder this week and I will be parting it out... Since my truck didnt sell on ebay, I will be parting it out from top to bottom as well. I dont have much info on the explorer yet, but once i pick it up, i will be posting pics... I dont have a lot of time to ship stuff, nor do i have a local ups or fedex...

The ranger will be parted out as people pay me for items...

I have a brand new(in box) soft tonneau cover, that is hinged as well, for a stepside bed.

JBA ceramic coated shorty headers(left side egr)

built 4.0 sohc short block with less than 20k miles: 8.8:1 .030 over wiseco forged pistons, arp head studs, race prepped rods, balanced rotating assembly, new timing chain cassettes, with oil pan, timing cover, and water pump

2006 mustang 5spd manual transmission with 6k miles on it(will bolt to the 4.0l

modified crossmember to accept the mustang trans

brand new ford ranger 5 speed pedal assembly

brand new clutch master cylinder(ford ranger)

the cab(with doors) and bed are for sale as well, they are painted to match, so I would recommend buying both...

I have a one off set of 4wd front spindles modified to fit 13in cobra brakes(rotors, calipers, and steel braided lines go with the spindles). The spindles have the outer joints from the cv shafts installed in the bearings, so these may work on 2wd trucks but it is YOUR responsibility to figure that out...

as far as the bed, as you can see in the pix, there is no fuel filler cap anymore(it has been shaved) as well as the holes where the factory steps snap into the bed... there are also two big holes cut in the center of the floor of the bed for the battery box and fuel cell access... the roll pan is a sir michaels steel pan. I would like to get 500 for the bed, but I am open to offers

i really hate to sell just one fender... the holes have been welded and a lot of time has been spent on them...

alright, and pretty much the whole setup, coilovers, Upper and Lower control arms, brakes, ect.

 

i have two sets of springs for the coilovers, 550lb and 600lb, i purchased the needle bearings for the springs to aid with adjustment, and the steel inserts for the ends. i have over 400 bucks in the coil overs, the brakes, well... thats another big expense(since they are 1 off)... if you purchase everything, i will tell you what rotors i am using(they have to be redrilled for the 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern. the spindles had to be machined for an offset insert for the cobra brackets(plus an additional bracket had to be made) and the steel braided lines are custom. I have hawk brake pads to go with them, the rotors are coated power slot(300 bucks alone), and the calipers and stuff run around 400 bucks.... i would take 900 bucks for everything. the lca's have new bushings, the driver side uca is brand new, i didnt purchase a new one for the right side(i dont think)... everything will work with the factory ranger master cylinder. i spent a lot of time doing r&d on this front setup, so 900 bucks is a freakin steal!

Yea a steal for sure, I doubt ill end up getting anything for the suspension. Let me check my funds tmrw cause I'm def interested in the short block. Were you running performance heads on that motor or were they stock?

 

i have a set of super six stage 3 heads with crower cobra springs and retainers, 1mm oversized stainless steel valves, and so forth, but i robbed an exhaust valve, spring, retainer, and im not sure if the lifter and follower is missing as well, for a customers vehicle... you can buy replacement parts from super six, im sure he will sell individuals. i have a set of stock cams as well... stock intake, im not sure if i have any injectors other than 19lbers... i was running 60lb injectors, but they went into a customers vehicle as well...

 

if you buy the motor, i will throw in all of the spare 4.0 parts that i have...
