As the Title says im looking to buy some 06+ Tails so i can do my L1224R mod the right way

Ive tried asking the manager at pepboys but he said the truck are leased and he couldnt allow me to do it. He did say i could go to the mall parking lot and have better luck but.. I dont want to take it upon myself to de-mod someones truck.

why don't you use some aftermarket tails like I have?

 

I like the stock kinda look plus i cant seem to find decent set of 2 bulb lights.

I found a set of crystal clear 3 bulbs that look kinda cool but i dont have a 3 bulb set up.

 

I did the 2 bulb setup by using 2 pair of L1224R in parallel. The ep27 flasher will work fine with this.

I don't think anybody on RF has clear tails with L1224R. They light up red anyways, so you could do it just fine; I mean ford does it with those right?

Yes, I do. - it would work, but no one has done these before. It's kind of a cool idea. I'm not a big fan of night shade but I think they would look awesome just clear and then red when the turnsignals/brakes go on. I mean, if you shade them it will look dark and people won't be able to tell if they are red underneath, or clear?

You should buy a red reflector liscense plate surround just so you stay legal.

Yeah VA has to be red on the tail light as well at dot/sae

 

Red facing rearward reflector, not necessarily on the tail light. There are plenty of OEM tail lights without red reflectors, they are on the bumper or someplace else though.
