I have a set of N-Fab Nerf step bars for sale because I removed the lift and don't need steps anymore.

Ooh!!! Those look SO MUCH BETTER than the OEM bars. Would those fit a non-lifted Ranger?

Yep, shouldn't matter.

When I was doing my research I found out they are not frame mounted but are actually mounted from the pinch weld on the truck body.

I'll be modifying mine so they are frame mounted for extra support.

EDIT: From the factory the standard N-Fab bars are made to mount something like these (Note: These are not on a Ranger):

Good idea! Yeah mounting them to the body doesn't offer too much support not to mention who wants to drill holes in their truck body? Utilizing OEM mounting locations would also be a good idea if one knew how to make custom brackets.

So these aren't just a bolt-on installation? I'd have to do some drilling?
