98-ish Explorer Dome Light, KY

** ** UPDATE!!! ** **
PICS ADDED, SCROLL DOWN.
Probably NOT 56k friendly though.

I've got a dome light from a '98-ish Explorer that I don't think I'm going to use after all.

I recently wet-sanded the outside of the lens down to about 800 grit and buffed it out...there WERE a few small scuffs & normal wear.

Right now, it looks better than the dome light in my Ranger does.

Gray with the 2 switches & I even have ALL the 3 of the original screws for it, (EDIT, I found ALL 3 Bulbs....woo hoo!)

I'm going to TRY to get the plastic inserts/wiring connectors from the roof of the Expo the next time I'm there...if anyone needs them, let me know. No guarantee on getting the roof connectors though.

I don't remember what the last one sold for on here, so I'll start at $25.00 + Priority Mail shipping (probably about $6 - $7 to the US) delivery confirmation included.
Reasonable offers considered as well.

PayPal is best for payments, I ship ASAP after payment received, Insurance is optional & up to buyer to pay for, I'll only charge the going rate for insurance.

PICS!

It's not broken, I just didn't have a screwdriver at hand to take it back apart when I took pictures, so I just set the lens on the base for the pics.

The only negative thing I can see on it is right behind the center bulb, some of the chrome finish has worn off, about the size of the bulb itself.

You know you want it

I'd love to have map lights in my truck but us lowly standard cab guys are pretty much screwed. The aiming would have to end up way off..

Actually the Mustang dome I put in mine works pretty well still. I mean it aims high and all but you still get enough residual light to see in ur lap.

Would switching the side bulbs for small LED panels help to direct the light?

Just a thought
