Boston Acoustics Pro60 Component Speakers - TX

Selling my Pro60s. These are 6" component speakers and include the adapter plates for Ranger door speakers, crossovers, tweeters, and a bunch of speaker wire also. These are magnificent speakers and they'll handle as much power as you can throw at them. They were hooked up to a JL Audio 300/4v2 before the amps were stolen. They're in great shape and they retail for around $600. I'm asking $250 shipped or best offer. I will try to get some pictures up if anyone is interested. Also I will see if I have the box/manual/etc. to go with them as well.

I fixed your thread title.

How long have you had these speakers, and how long were they in the truck before the amps got stolen?

Red_Ak_Ranger 09-05-2010 02:01 PM

Hey Kyle did you have yours installed in your door? Just wonderin cause I had mine put in and need to get my doors soundproofed or something(but i think you did that).

Gearhead61 09-05-2010 02:34 PM

KLC thanks for fixing that. I noticed after I did it but couldn't figure out how to edit the title itself.

Andrew, I have had these speakers for about 2 years I think. They actually survived two sets of amps getting stolen. They were in the truck for about a week after the second amps were stolen and then taken out and have been inside my house for about a month since then. I'm really bummed to have to get rid of them because they simply sound incredible!

Aaron, the woofers were in the doors, the tweeters were installed on the a-pillars. The entire truck was coated in two layers of secondskin sound deadening material.

Yah I kinda remember you telling me that haha. You did it all yourself right? I have a garage at my duplex so maybe that'd be a super fun project. I'll have to buy an amp like yours though because mine isn't powerful enough.

Also ill attest to Pro 60s being badass speakers! Kyle talked me into buying a set years ago, they have a lotta power. I need to get my doors sound deadened because they have som sick bass (for door speakers)

I think you need to move or buy a gun and stand watch on your truck (you are in Texas after all)

Yeah it happened when I was away at college. It's very difficult to find a garage when you're in school and living in an apartment.

Are these them?

Looks like them. I'm not 100% certain whether I've got Pro60 speakers, Pro60SE speakers, or if there is even a difference though. That looks like a pretty good price for them. Much less than I paid for mine. If you're interested, make me an offer!

Damn kyle...that's what you get for living in college station...where's your truck at now ill go watch it for you lol

Gearhead61 09-07-2010 02:03 PM

Haha thanks Andrew. It's at home right now. I'm about to move for my new job since I graduated. It doesn't have much worth stealing in it anymore... just a stock radio and speakers.

bigandrw 09-07-2010 02:06 PM

You live in cs?

Gearhead61 09-09-2010 01:15 AM

Not anymore. Moved back to Dallas about a week ago. Starting my new job in Tyler next week.
