I have a feeling the armrest broke on you.

Dorman has a fix that is a near-bolt-in replacement. You just have to cut this rod on your stock pivot point, and it's a direct bolt-on from there.

60 bux retail but lookie here:

I have one on my rig. It's made of steel and feels MUCH more solid. Simple to install. 25 out of 5 stars ;)

No pad...just the mount/hinge. You can bolt yours directly to it if it isn't too damaged.

BTW...The "lock" in the center is for Explorers that have the cupholder in the armrest. You won't need that and you can unbolt it.

Hope this helps!
